Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the product roadmap for core Physical AI capabilities and translate research breakthroughs into deployable, customer-facing products.
  • •Turn ambiguous technical tradeoffs into clear product decisions across research, robotics engineering, and field deployment.
  • •Define what “ready for a customer site” means by setting success metrics, reliability thresholds, and release scope boundaries.
  • •Drive cross-functional alignment across distributed teams in research, engineering, and field operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a track record of shipping technical products where managing complex tradeoffs was the primary challenge.
  • •Have deep technical understanding to review policy evaluations, understand sim-to-real gaps, and participate in complex debug sessions without writing the code yourself.
  • •Prefer field evaluation over synthetic benchmarks, including assessing failures on a live customer floor.
  • •Be able to write clear specs and decision logs that hold up when you’re not in the room.
  • •Be comfortable making progress with incomplete information in a fast-moving, evolving technical field.
