Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide accurate, timely, balanced medical/scientific/regulatory guidance and review/approval support for promotional and non-promotional materials and activities through Global PRC/MRCs.
  • •Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs Leads and Medical Directors to ensure nonpromotional materials align to medical strategy.
  • •Develop and maintain deep knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy, and clinical outcomes for assigned products and disease states.
  • •Respond to unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information for healthcare professionals and consumers, and support medical information booth activities for scientific meetings.
  • •Maintain departmental policies/SOPs/WPDs/WIs and ensure medical review excellence with compliance to company standards and applicable external codes.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced degree in pharmacy (PharmD) or related science (PhD, MD, MSc) required, with minimum 3 years of medical information or medical communications experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, or PharmD post-doctoral fellowship.
  • •At least 1 year of relevant experience reviewing and approving local/regional promotional and/or nonpromotional materials.
  • •Understanding of drug development and US (FDA) and global (e.g., EMEA) regulations, including reporting requirements for pharmacovigilance events and product quality complaints.
  • •Demonstrated success negotiating and influencing stakeholders.
  • •Working knowledge of AI tools for medical information and medical review, including applying AI for literature review/content development/summarization and evaluating outputs for scientific accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and policy adherence.
