Key Responsibilities

  • •Test features within Ovation and its add-on applications in cooperation with other team members.
  • •Perform smoke testing, first-pass testing, and regression testing; report findings.
  • •Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for different software systems and contribute to overall product quality.
  • •Recreate reported issues and document/report results.
  • •Develop automated and manual tests and take ownership of a major software product component across multiple platforms.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 years of experience in product testing for DCS and supported software such as OPC, Data Analytics, Historian, Advance Algorithms, Cybersecurity solutions, and third-party protocols.
  • •Experience with functional, system, compatibility, and performance testing methodologies.
  • •Experience with Windows OS installation, drivers, and Microsoft patches.
  • •Experience with field instrument, discrete and continuous controllers, HMI, and bus technologies.
  • •Experience with C/C++/C#/ .NET and automated/manual testing; ISTQB Foundation level is preferred.
