Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze failed HBM components from reliability testing by reviewing historical results and adjusting test parameters to determine sensitivities.
  • •Perform visual inspection and use schematics/layouts/process information to identify abnormalities; document, categorize, and communicate electrical failures.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment and test software/hardware configurations, identify and report issues, and configure/upgrade test equipment as needed.
  • •Develop and deploy failure analysis software and provide technical support and training to lab users, including OJT for new hires and transfers.
  • •Maintain and curate an EFA knowledge database: track and analyze failure data, identify false failures, and support quality/reliability and engineering requests including package-level PFA.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in the semiconductor field.
  • •Knowledge of DRAM operation, fabrication processes, and semiconductor device physics.
  • •Familiarity with failure analysis, troubleshooting/debugging, and semiconductor/packaging and testing concepts and flows (wafer, component, module testing).
  • •Strong troubleshooting and sharp attention to detail, with good organizational skills.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills and efficient computer skills; Unix and DFII/Cadence/uMate familiarity is preferred.
