Job Summary

Lead and manage the hybrid Accelerated BSN (ABSN) learning site’s nursing services in Reno, partnering with the university and health care partners. Plan and implement operational strategy for clinical, lab, and simulation activities; track performance and outcomes; manage staff qualifications and compliance; and secure equipment and supplies. Work closely with the Executive Director, Nursing Services to ensure service delivery to students while meeting quality, health and safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.

•Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management and development of clinical, lab, and simulation activities to meet organizational and partner goals and outcomes.
•Establish and maintain systems to measure operational management and development aspects.
•Monitor, measure, and report operational issues, opportunities, and development plans within agreed formats and timelines.
•Manage and develop direct reporting staff to ensure qualifications, certifications, and requirements are completed upon hire and annually.
•Secure and manage equipment and supplies; collaborate with the Executive Director, Nursing Services, and ensure activities meet quality, health and safety, legal, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

•Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university is required.
•Minimum of 5 years of nursing practice with demonstrated accountability for outcomes.
•Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience, including supervision of personnel.
•Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (including clinical teaching) at the baccalaureate level or higher in nursing.
•Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure in Nevada; must pass a pre-employment background investigation.
