Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as final technical escalation point for complex automation, controls, electrical, fabrication, and facility-related failures.
  • •Lead advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on automated systems including AS/RS, shuttle systems, sortation equipment, and integrated material handling platforms.
  • •Provide expert troubleshooting support for facility infrastructure such as power distribution, dock systems, building mechanical systems, and safety-critical assets.
  • •Perform and oversee fabrication and repair work to improve equipment reliability, safety, and facility needs; coordinate specialized vendor work as needed.
  • •Conduct formal root cause analysis for major downtime events and chronic failures, develop corrective actions, and influence preventive maintenance strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in highly automated environments.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated material handling systems (e.g., AS/RS, sortation, shuttle, conveyors).
  • •Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial hydraulic systems, preferably including balers/compactors or similar equipment.
  • •Strong electrical, controls, and facility systems background with demonstrated technical leadership and escalation ownership.
  • •Proficiency with CMMS and disciplined maintenance documentation; advanced automation/controls or reliability training is preferred.
