Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cost target setting for managed categories; lead competitive bid processes, price negotiation, cost reduction, and business awards for the category with key suppliers.
  • •Manage supplier performance to contractual requirements which meet AMD short and long term needs; implement contracts to minimize AMD risk and enable supplier accountability for non-performance.
  • •Lead Supplier Performance Management (SPM) with key suppliers and manage the quarterly scorecard to review service level on cost, technology, quality, service, and flexibility.
  • •Develop category strategy which fully reflects requirements of the stakeholders; update regularly to track progress against plan.
  • •Understand industry trends through ongoing market research and benchmarking; execute all Procure-to-Pay activities to ensure orders are issued and invoiced in a timely manner

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement with a track record in OSAT or semiconductor supplier management
  • •Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance management capabilities
  • •Experience leading end-to-end procure-to-pay processes and cross-functional collaboration
  • •Ability to develop and implement category strategies aligned with stakeholder needs
  • •BS/BA degree; ISM/APICS/C.P.M certification preferred; Green Belt preferred
