Job Summary

Lead Thumbtack’s Sales team by recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing SDRs and AEs. Coach reps to hit KPIs, remove sales obstacles, and help optimize the sales pitch and processes for scalable growth. Build trust with local professionals, surface learnings from sales conversations, and improve the quality and quantity of pros on the platform while driving revenue. Partner with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, and Enablement on workflow and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Recruit, onboard, train, and manage SDRs or AEs.
•Coach the team to hit KPIs and remove sales obstacles.
•Maintain team morale, set and achieve team goals, and manage campaigns and team productivity.
•Streamline SDR/AE workflow and operations processes; design and optimize sales pitch.
•Provide feedback to Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, and Enablement and identify training needs.

Key Requirements

•3+ years cold-calling/outbound sales experience.
•2-3 years of people management experience leading a sales team.
•Expert in solution-based selling by aligning prospect goals, needs, and problems to product solutions.
•Experience with CRM and sales tools, preferably Salesforce.
•Excellent communication skills (voice and non-voice) to clearly explain product benefits and features.
