Job Summary

Operate heavy quarry and construction equipment safely and efficiently across varying conditions, following company policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements. Complete pre- and post-operation inspections with proper documentation, perform routine servicing and minor maintenance, and escalate major issues. Report equipment and operational problems to supervisors and execute daily tasks directed by the Foreman to meet project/jobsite expectations. Assist with mentoring, training, and general labor support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of diverse sizes and weights across quarry and construction tasks.
•Adhere to company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

•Perform routine servicing and minor maintenance on equipment; escalate major issues to supervisors as needed.
•Report equipment and operational issues to the appropriate leaders and execute daily tasks directed by the Foreman; assist with mentoring and general labor duties.

Key Requirements

•1–3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in heavy equipment operation.
•Demonstrated ability to safely and efficiently operate a broad range of equipment in varying conditions.
•Ability to perform accurate record-keeping and understand construction documents and blueprints using basic math, reading, and writing.
•Minimum age of 18 years and successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screening, and criminal background check.
•Strict observance of safety requirements and willingness to collaborate with a team while following instructions clearly.
