Key Responsibilities

•Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Specialist Solutions Architects and frontline managers/leads.
•Maintain a hiring pipeline focused on deep technical expertise and life sciences domain proficiency.
•Exceed regional sales and consumption targets by qualifying accounts, identifying genomic/clinical/operational use cases, and executing secure proof-of-concepts.
•Drive adoption of the Databricks platform while ensuring compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST, GxP) map to business and regulatory value.
•Build matrixed relationships across Product Management, Engineering, Industry Solutions, and Sales to accelerate go-to-market velocity.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 219,600 - 301,875 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of leadership experience directly managing technical pre-sales teams, including leading senior individual contributors and frontline technical managers/pod leads.
•5+ years of deep experience in the data and AI space with highly technical platforms such as distributed computing, cloud data warehousing, MLOps, or generative AI infrastructure.
•Strong Healthcare & Life Sciences domain understanding, including data models (OMOP, FHIR), regulatory constraints (HIPAA, GxP), and enterprise integration/transformation patterns.
•Proven ability as a trusted strategic advisor to HLS technical executives (CTOs, CIOs, Chief Data Officers) on cloud infrastructure and AI roadmap decisions.
•Expertise in technical qualification methodologies, architecture design validation, structured POC management, and value-selling frameworks.
