Job Summary

Join WSP’s Remediation Program Management team as a Technical Report Author focusing on contaminated sites. You will collaborate with Project Managers and Field Technicians to produce high-quality technical reports, site closure documentation, and QA/QC processes, while applying knowledge of BC Contaminated Sites Regulation and remediation practices to support major Canadian projects.

Location: Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Mississauga, Kitchener

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in a team environment, working closely with and supporting Project Managers and Field Technicians.
•Produce high quality written technical reports in support of large and small environmental site assessment, monitoring and remediation projects.
•Preparation of Site closure documentation (detailed site investigations, regulatory forms).
•QA/QC laboratory data then generate tables.
•Create, execute and revise work plans to meet Project Manager’s needs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in related field (Geoscience and/or Engineering).
•4 to 6 years of direct experience in contaminated site assessments, site monitoring and remediation.
•Working knowledge of the BC Contaminated Sites Regulation and relevant Protocols and Technical Guidance documents.
•Experience with statistical analysis using common analytical software.
•Strong technical writing skills.
