Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes.
  • •Perform machine setups including fixture installation, tooling setup, work holding, and work offset establishment.
  • •Verify programs and perform prove-outs for new machining processes and first-run parts.
  • •Inspect first-article and production parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • •Monitor and adjust machining parameters to maintain part quality and efficiency, troubleshoot issues, maintain records, and support maintenance/housekeeping and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience; greater experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • •Ability to independently perform machine setups and operate CNC machining equipment.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • •Proficiency using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
