Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and oversee strategies for mail-service pharmacy operations.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy regulation across multiple geographies and interpret regulatory strategies for facility operations.
  • •Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations for ordering, handling, and management of prescriptions and/or prescription drug products.
  • •Maintain and promote PHI security and privacy practices in compliance with federal and state HIPAA regulations.
  • •Perform core pharmacist duties including drug utilization reviews, medication label checks, patient counseling, and medication information review.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred) is required.
  • •4–6 years in a pharmacy supervisory role managing licensed/registered pharmacy technicians and pharmacists.
  • •Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations for pharmacy practice.
  • •Active pharmacist license in your state (or willing to obtain/maintain licensing) and willingness to be licensed in multiple states.
  • •Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and ability to work flexible shift times.
