Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as AECOM’s on-site safety representative throughout construction, commissioning, start-up, and activation phases.
  • •Conduct daily site safety walks to identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and support continuous improvement.
  • •Perform routine and targeted safety audits and document findings.
  • •Monitor construction operations for compliance with OSHA regulations, project safety requirements, and Owner EHS policies and procedures.
  • •Support incident investigations, review contractor safety reports/programs, and track corrective actions to timely closure.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of construction safety experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Ability to pass a motor vehicle check, drug screen, and related background checks.
  • •4+ years of construction safety experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
  • •Professional safety certification such as CSP, CHST, ASP, OHST (or equivalent).
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry safety standards, including experience reviewing contractor safety programs and conducting inspections.
