Job Summary

Join a major Prince Rupert infrastructure project as a Construction Field Inspector (Intermediate to Senior). Inspect wide-ranging civil works, monitor contractor performance, and document field activities while supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance. You’ll collaborate with project teams on-site; either reside locally or work a 2-weeks-in/2-weeks-out rotation to help deliver high-profile infrastructure safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements
•Monitor contractor performance and workmanship across civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure scopes
•Document field activities through daily reports, photos, deficiency tracking, and progress updates
•Support health, safety, and environmental compliance on site, promoting a strong safety culture
•Coordinate with contractors, project managers, engineers, and client representatives to resolve field issues

Key Requirements

•Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
•5+ years of progressive construction inspection experience on large, multi-disciplinary projects
•Strong understanding of civil, geotechnical, and infrastructure construction practices
•Experience working on active construction sites; familiarity with quality control, inspection documentation, and deficiency management
•Valid driver’s license and ability to meet site safety requirements
