Job Summary

Join Wood in Singapore as a Process Engineer supporting pharmaceutical, chemical and oil & gas projects. You’ll contribute to process design across concept to detailed design, develop key deliverables (BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs), run process simulations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help ensure safe, compliant and efficient plant design with opportunities for site work and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in delivering process design work in compliance with relevant standards, HSEQ standards, project procedures and regulatory requirements.
•Deliver process engineering (including automation) design, equipment commissioning and process performance qualifications for NPI and capital projects (manufacturing and utilities).
•Support the development of key process deliverables, including BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing calculations.
•Perform process simulations and assist with preparation of design documentation and datasheets.
•Identify and implement improvements to plant facilities, processes, methods of operations and turnaround; troubleshoot process and equipment problems to enhance safety and efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor’s or equivalent).
•3-10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or petro-chemical industry.
•Process design experience in API/Bio-Pharma/Vaccine/R&D and support utilities (CIP/SIP, decontamination/sterilization).
•Hands-on experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS, SuperPro, Schedule-pro.
•Willingness to work at client sites and travel as required.
