Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the creative direction and design strategy for the Casual category to align with the Topshop brand vision and customer.
  • •Research and interpret global fashion trends to develop seasonal concepts, colour palettes, fabric direction, silhouettes, and key items.
  • •Design and deliver commercially relevant, fashion-led multi-product tailoring ranges, balancing innovation, fashion credibility, and performance.
  • •Create detailed design packs, CADs, and technical briefs; partner with Product Development and suppliers on fabrics, trims, and finishes.
  • •Own fit, proportion, and silhouette direction through fittings; analyse trade performance, customer feedback, and market trends.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in Casual bottoms or Outerwear design in a fast-paced fashion retailer or contemporary fashion brand.
  • •Excellent understanding of garment construction, fit principles, fabrications, and finishing techniques.
  • •Proven ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into commercially successful product.
  • •Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD development.
  • •Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
