Job Summary

Lead research and new product development for flooring solutions, translating inputs from product management into lab trials and optimized formulations. Conduct testing of raw materials and finished products against IS/ASTM/EN standards, maintain experimental records, and support stability studies and troubleshooting. Coordinate with production for trial batches, provide site technical support, and ensure laboratory equipment calibration, ISO documentation, and EHS compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Research and develop new flooring products based on product management inputs.
•Assist in developing new products and support laboratory trials and formulation development, evaluation, and optimization.
•Perform routine testing of raw materials and finished products per IS/ASTM/EN standards and maintain accurate experiment records.
•Support stability studies and troubleshoot product performance issues, coordinating with QC and technical teams.
•Coordinate with production for trial batches and ensure proper implementation of formulations, calibration, ISO documentation, and EHS guidelines.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of product development experience in a chemical manufacturing company, with flooring experience.
•BSc in Chemistry or B.E in Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
•Knowledge of the product development cycle.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work as a self-starter and technical leader, collaborating effectively in a team environment.
