Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee portfolio management for high net worth and institutional clients within Baird Trust Company
  • •Participate in investment review meetings and on the Investment Committee, providing recommendations and insights
  • •Engage in business development by meeting with prospects and presenting investment management proposals
  • •Maintain Investment Policy Statements for client relationships and ensure alignment with objectives and risk tolerance
  • •Collaborate with Trust Administrators, Estate Planners and Financial Consultants/Relationship Managers to achieve client objectives

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance; MBA preferred
  • •10+ years of portfolio management experience in banking or securities
  • •Knowledge of global equity and fixed income markets and global economic conditions
  • •Familiarity with fiduciary principles and prudent investment concepts; general understanding of the tax code
  • •CFA or CFP preferred; SIE and Series 7 required or ability to obtain; Series 63/65/66 required or ability to obtain
