Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage with the CIB Chief Data Office, business users, and subject matter experts to understand, clarify, and prioritise requirements.
  • •Translate requirements into deliverable solution approaches, functional requirements, and high-level design documentation.
  • •Produce technical design artefacts and interface specifications, and communicate functional solutions to the development team.
  • •Promote solution architecture principles and best practices, and provide recommendations, roadmaps, and documentation.
  • •Participate in PoCs and technical validation, conduct design reviews, and manage design activities within own scope during agile iterations.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Solution Architect within a large organisation.
  • •Strong logical thinking to abstract architectural patterns from technical solutions.
  • •Leadership skills to articulate, present, and drive approval of solutions to both IT and business audiences.
  • •Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink, Pub/Sub) and data warehousing/ETL or data integration.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), big data platforms (BigQuery, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks), and at least one cloud platform (GCP, Azure, AWS).
