Key Responsibilities

  • •Create and maintain detailed 3D structural models for Rail infrastructure using BIM software (MicroStation, Open Buildings Designer, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • •Interpret architectural and engineering plans to develop integrated structural models and generate 2D drawings from 3D models for construction documentation.
  • •Perform clash detection and resolve spatial conflicts between structural, architectural, and MEP components.
  • •Coordinate with architects, engineers and project managers to ensure model accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • •Update and modify models per revised plans, specifications or redlines and maintain BIM libraries, templates and families.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering with 7-10 years of relevant experience in BIM software (Revit, Bentley, Autodesk BIM).
  • •Excellent working knowledge of core civil/structural modelling using MicroStation, AECOsim/OpenBuildings Designer (mandatory) and 3D modelling in Revit.
