Apply security hardening to log-collection systems and collaborate with SOC and threat detection teams to support detections, investigations, and compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Integrate new log sources (network, endpoint, identity, and cloud telemetry) into the SIEM while meeting quality and compliance standards.
•Support onboarding of systems, assets, and log streams into the MDR platform to improve visibility and alert fidelity.
•Create and maintain parsing and normalization logic to structure logs and align them with common data models.
•Develop scripts and automation tools for onboarding, data transformation, health monitoring, and alert enrichment.
•Contribute to scalable ingestion pipeline design and apply security hardening to systems involved in log collection.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
•4–6 years of experience with SIEM platforms, log engineering, and security operations.
•Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automation and parsing.
•Solid understanding of log formats (syslog, JSON, CEF) and network protocols.
•Familiarity with system hardening and secure configuration standards, plus knowledge of endpoint, cloud, identity, and network security telemetry.
