Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a small team supporting testing operations by assigning work by priority, enforcing safety/workmanship standards, and clearing blockers at the appropriate level.
  • •Act as the liaison between employees and management to solve problems and address general questions.
  • •Support technician GSE work, including building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and related components for the Starship Tower build.
  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation; read and interpret planning documents, schematics, specifications, drawings, manuals, blueprints, and engineering sketches.
  • •Fabricate and repair GSE/testing hardware, collaborate with design engineers on GSE/testing activities, and ensure compliance with regulations and SpaceX procedures.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years of industrial experience installing pipes/components, bending stainless tubes, or working around high-pressure systems (pneumatic/hydraulic).
  • •2+ years assembling and configuring large mechanical structures and test stands using forklifts, cranes, and proper rigging techniques.
  • •Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics, specifications, drawings, and planning documents.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
