Job Summary

Develop and grow a personal Book of Business within the Paris/Lyon French road freight market (FTL/LTL) by executing DP World’s commercial strategy, expanding customer accounts, and delivering tailored transport solutions. Drive end-to-end sales, manage margins, collaborate with ops/pricing/service teams, maintain CRM discipline, and monitor market dynamics to sustain growth and profitability in a fast-paced field-sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive new business development and expand existing customer accounts within the French road freight market (FTL/LTL).
•Identify target customers, manage the full sales cycle (prospecting → closing), and build long-term partnerships.
•Develop tailored transport solutions aligned with customer needs, market trends, and company capabilities.
•Achieve revenue and margin targets while maintaining a strong, healthy sales pipeline.
•Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure service excellence and competitiveness.

Key Requirements

•Freight management experience (3+ years) with strong road freight knowledge (FTL/LTL).
•Sales experience (4+ years) with a proven hunter mindset and track record of winning new business.
•Proven prospecting skills including cold calling, structured targeting, and lead generation.
•Strong communication skills in French and English with ability to tailor messaging to diverse stakeholders.
•Negotiation capabilities to secure competitive agreements while protecting margins.
