Job Summary

Serve as a trusted technical advisor for GitLab prospects and customers in France, guiding DevSecOps transformations across the full software development lifecycle. Lead discovery, demos, and technical evaluations including POC/POV ownership, workshops, and tender/audit components. Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to shape account strategy, drive platform adoption, and influence revenue growth while acting as the voice of the customer to Product Management.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate how GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customers’ technical and business needs.
•Drive the technical evaluation process, owning solution design, POC/POV work, workshop design, and technical components of tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.
•Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies across Southern EU for acquisition and expansion.
•Build and deepen relationships with technical and business leaders, guiding transformation and enabling customers to become GitLab advocates.
•Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices while serving as the voice of the customer back to Product Management.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles, guiding solution design and evaluation for customers.
•Proficiency across the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
•Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control plus CI/CD and collaboration platforms, mapping capabilities to customer use cases.
•Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts to discuss deployment, security, and operations options with technical teams.
•Ability to lead technical evaluations (POC/POV), contribute to tenders/audits, and run workshops or value stream assessments.
