Job Summary

Assist clients with originating residential mortgage loans by providing analysis and advice on home lending solutions that meet their needs. Prospect for new loan originations and develop referral relationships to grow Key’s home lending business. Originate and process mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending process and product guidelines, serving as primary point of contact through closing while meeting sales goals and maintaining client satisfaction and loan quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect home lending business to build new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process a targeted number of residential real estate mortgage transactions per Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms, and guide them from application through closing.
•Gather required documents at loan registration and remain the primary point of contact throughout the loan process.
•Work in a branch environment to provide in-person client services 4+ days/week and maintain standards of client satisfaction and loan quality.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15 hourly

Key Requirements

•3+ years experience as a loan officer in first mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, and local/state real estate and finance laws (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong customer service and sales/service skills, including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
