Job Summary

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex healthcare IT implementation projects across the UK and Ireland, from initiation through go-live and closure. Own project scope, plans, and governance, including Steering Committees and Project Boards, while ensuring alignment to delivery methodology, scope/budget/quality targets, and clinical safety standards. Manage third-party partners, commercial and financial performance, stakeholder engagement, RAID and change control, and oversee cutover, training, and handover to support teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead full lifecycle project delivery from initiation through go-live and closure.
•Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders; maintain integrated project plans tied to contractual milestones.
•Establish project governance (e.g., Steering Committees, Project Boards) and ensure alignment to delivery methodology and PMO standards.
•Manage RAID and structured change control, including schedule/scope/budget/quality monitoring and escalation of material risks and variances.
•Oversee go-live and transition activities: cutover planning/execution, training and readiness, milestone acceptance/sign-off, and structured handover to Service Management and Support teams.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5–10 years’ experience managing complex IT projects and strong understanding of software implementation lifecycles.
•Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream healthcare IT implementations.
•Experience working with NHS, government, public or private healthcare providers.
•Strong financial management and forecasting capability, including managing revenue, margin, and cost performance.
•Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrations, with leadership of cross-functional geographically dispersed teams.
