Key Responsibilities

  • •Comply with Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • •Operate inbound and outbound scales: identify load contents/commodity codes, determine weight, compute ticket totals, and direct customers to unloading areas.
  • •Facilitate payment for inbound material and coordinate with office personnel to ensure accurate, timely documentation of purchasing transactions.
  • •Communicate scrap quality and acceptance procedures (including pricing questions) to customers and, as needed, production crews.
  • •Test scale accuracy for in-bound/out-bound operations, report equipment malfunctions, and support internal control processes.

Key Requirements
