Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive daily work assignments and assemble gasket plate heat exchanger components into finished products using SOPs and blueprints.
  • •Report deviations related to safety, quality, parts, or equipment to status boards and explain/participate in Daily Status Board meetings.
  • •Review Standard Operating Procedures and suggest improvements; identify waste-elimination opportunities and drive KAIZEN improvements.
  • •Engage in daily and weekly 5S routines and sustain high 5S standards; participate in continuous improvement under the Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS).
  • •Maintain clean workspace, use PPE consistently, cross-train via the SOP Matrix, and efficiently use downtime to learn new processes and run improvements.

  • •Assemble finished products by following blueprints/instructions and Standard Operating Procedures in a fast-paced production environment.
  • •Use hand and power tools with strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • •Perform quality checks and accurately record data on quality documentation, components, and products per company or customer requirements.
  • •Apply continuous improvement practices (5S, problem resolution, Total Preventative Maintenance) including daily and weekly routines.
  • •Maintain workplace safety by using required Personal Protective Equipment and be trained to pass Industrial Vehicle Test (Crane, Forklift, Joey).
