Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and analyze firewall and IPS logs to detect and respond to security threats and anomalies.
  • •Analyze malware sandboxing reports to identify zero-day threats and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • •Monitor and manage anti-DDoS mitigation systems to protect services from volumetric and application-layer attacks.
  • •Administer and manage web proxy infrastructure and content filtering policies; troubleshoot web connectivity and protocol issues (HTTP/HTTPS/SSL).
  • •Perform firmware upgrades and security patches for NGFW devices, manage incident response (including P1/P2 bridge calls), and coordinate with L3 on complex issues.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6 years of relevant experience in network/cyber security operations.
  • •Expertise in NGFW platforms (e.g., Palo Alto) and IPS/IDS technologies, plus web security technologies and DDoS defenses.
  • •Experience monitoring and troubleshooting firewall and IPS logs, including handling security incidents and root-cause analysis.
  • •Education in BE/B-Tech/BCA or a master’s degree in CS/IT.
  • •Certifications including CEH/CCNA/CCNP security and OEM firewall/anti-DDoS certifications (e.g., PCNSA/PCNSE).
