Job Summary

Operate and maintain the bank’s core network security stack, including NGFW, IPS, web proxy, malware sandboxing, and anti-DDoS solutions. Monitor and analyze firewall/IPS and sandbox alerts, investigate anomalies and advanced threats, and drive incident response through P1/P2 bridge calls. Implement changes such as firmware upgrades, patches, and content filtering policies, and collaborate with L3 on complex issues while continuously reporting system health and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and analyze firewall and IPS logs to detect and respond to security threats and anomalies.
•Analyze malware sandboxing reports to identify zero-day threats and advanced persistent threats (APTs).
•Monitor and manage anti-DDoS mitigation systems to protect services from volumetric and application-layer attacks.
•Administer and manage web proxy infrastructure and content filtering policies; troubleshoot web connectivity and protocol issues (HTTP/HTTPS/SSL).
•Perform firmware upgrades and security patches for NGFW devices, manage incident response (including P1/P2 bridge calls), and coordinate with L3 on complex issues.

Key Requirements

•4–6 years of relevant experience in network/cyber security operations.
•Expertise in NGFW platforms (e.g., Palo Alto) and IPS/IDS technologies, plus web security technologies and DDoS defenses.
•Experience monitoring and troubleshooting firewall and IPS logs, including handling security incidents and root-cause analysis.
•Education in BE/B-Tech/BCA or a master’s degree in CS/IT.
•Certifications including CEH/CCNA/CCNP security and OEM firewall/anti-DDoS certifications (e.g., PCNSA/PCNSE).
