Key Responsibilities

  • •Weigh proper feed amounts for multiple hoppers, monitor water consumption, and weigh birds according to schedules.
  • •Clean waterers and walls, sweep (and scrape floors if needed), maintain a clean egg room, and perform routine housekeeping.
  • •Record key production and health information (egg numbers/line/source, bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality).
  • •Inspect poultry for disease, euthanize selected weak/ill birds per approved policy, and remove dead poultry from the flock.
  • •Collect eggs, scan and record egg collection data, adjust illumination/temperature/ventilation, and perform additional assigned duties as needed.
