Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and document end-to-end architecture specifications with modularity, scalability, and compatibility with hardware and software requirements.
  • •Develop new architectural approaches and novel features to optimize performance, power, and area targets.
  • •Run feasibility studies and tradeoff analyses to define CPU requirements, content, and new instructions for emerging use cases.
  • •Model CPU performance and power, analyze bottlenecks, and propose architectural improvements based on future workload predictions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of CPU architecture experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
  • •4+ years experience in architecture definition, modeling, and/or CPU architecture fundamentals.
  • •4+ years experience in SoC architecture and development methodologies.
  • •8+ years experience with advanced CPU technology is preferred.
  • •Experience/understanding of Fabric/Interconnect, PCIe/CXL, coherency protocols, and Core/ISA or accelerators is preferred.
