Job Summary

Prepare and file statutory financial reports for multiple legal entities, deriving local GAAP/IFRS statutory financials from US-GAAP group reporting. Drive internal and external audit requirements to timely completion, ensuring accurate accounting of transactions and obligations. Maintain compliance with local statutory regulations, books & record provisions, and SOX. Collaborate with stakeholders and external auditors, and support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure statutory reports are timely and accurately filed for multiple reporting units and legal entities.
•Derive statutory financials per local GAAP/IFRS (by region) based on US-GAAP group reporting.
•Ensure allocated entities’ transactions and obligations are properly accounted for and correctly reported for statutory purposes.
•Manage internal and external audit requirements and drive the statutory audit to completion in a timely manner.
•Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations and SOX, liaising with stakeholders and supporting tax filings with tax consultants.

Key Requirements

•Degree in finance or economics (preferably accounting).
•ACCA ongoing or completed (plus).
•Minimum 7 years’ experience as a financial auditor or key contact to external financial auditors in an international matrix organization.
•Fluency in English (local language is a plus).
•US-GAAP or IFRS accounting knowledge, including experience preparing IFRS-based statutory financial statements including notes (preferred).
