Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the GCC group team leader with planning and allocating team resources and tasks.
  • •Provide technical support to pre-contract and project delivery teams for design, construction, and operation of power and desalination plants.
  • •Conduct detailed design for power and water projects using performance modelling software packages.
  • •Perform technical evaluation of tender submissions and prepare related reports, including due diligence and operation reports.
  • •Prepare and review technical specifications, design drawings, calculations, and contractor/vendor submissions; monitor construction progress and attend meetings and factory acceptance tests.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate mechanical engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience designing power and water projects in a design office setting.
  • •Thermodynamic power plant cycle analysis experience, including power plant systems and equipment.
  • •Knowledge of pre- and post-treatment processes for desalination plants and experience with large desalination and power plants projects (preferably across the Middle East).
  • •Proficiency in selecting mechanical/BOP equipment and preparing technical specifications, with good computer skills and communication ability.
