Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and optimize gas turbine static and rotary systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
  • •Perform geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, define assembly procedures, and prepare drawings with manufacturing guidelines.
  • •Carry out FMECA to support safety and operability assessments and support FRACAS activities.
  • •Review designs and simulations and generate testing guidelines; plan and mitigate project risks.
  • •Support other team members, develop junior engineers, and provide constructive feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • •Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, mechanical design, integrity, and heat transfer.
  • •Experience (5-15 years or more) in gas turbine component design and related propulsion activities.
  • •Proficiency with design tools such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX (or similar).
  • •Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter or Windchill and familiarity with FEA or lower-order simulation methods.
