Job Summary

Lead UX research for Asana for Service, partnering with Product Design, Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering to shape the roadmap and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

•Identify and prioritize high-impact research needs in partnership with product leadership to base the roadmap on customer understanding and business goals.
•Lead foundational post-GA research that drives product improvements and shapes long-term product vision.
•Drive co-design and usability research, owning the customer panel feedback loop to track evolving user needs as the product scales.
•Champion a customer-centric culture by contributing to design critiques and product reviews, identifying strategic research opportunities early.
•Scale research impact by coaching cross-functional partners to conduct high-quality research alongside you and independently.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of UX research experience for digital products with a track record of leading large-scale projects.
•Mastery of qualitative and quantitative methods (prototype testing, contextual inquiry, journey mapping, evaluative techniques).
•Mature product judgment with ability to distill messy data into clear, actionable deliverables.
•Strong organizational leadership with ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and build trust with senior stakeholders.
•Deep knowledge of information architecture and design principles to partner effectively with Design and Content Strategy.
