Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic vision and leadership to ensure the inspection center meets current and future demands and stays aligned with Carvana culture.
  • •Lead production planning, capacity management, and weekly performance review meetings, and drive resolution of issues impacting performance.
  • •Ensure standardized work, operating rules, 5S, and visual management tools are consistently executed.
  • •Participate in hiring and build talent pipelines and candidate benches for leadership positions, including training and certification progression.
  • •Lead and participate in continuous improvement events; mentor reconditioning managers on problem-solving.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of management experience in automotive or a lean manufacturing environment leading multiple work groups.
  • •Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and proven track record of leading and developing associates.
  • •Ability to obtain project deliverables and company metrics.
  • •Ability to work a flexible schedule and manage in a fast-paced production environment sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years, plus required English and age qualifications.
