Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies, leading end-to-end sourcing (market engagement, supplier evaluation, tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiation) to deliver cost savings and supply continuity.
  • •Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships, including performance management, continuous improvement, and contract lifecycle oversight to ensure commercial, legal, and operational compliance.
  • •Lead complex negotiations, contract renewals, dispute resolution, and supply chain risk mitigation activities to support resilience and business continuity.
  • •Lead procurement performance reporting across savings, supplier KPIs, risk, and compliance metrics, and champion process optimisation, digital procurement tools, and sustainability/ESG and ethical sourcing initiatives.
  • •Serve as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, Legal, and executive leadership; lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members and promote procurement best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in procurement, supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • •Progressive procurement and sourcing experience with leadership responsibilities; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Significant experience in senior sourcing or procurement management roles, with a track record of delivering strategic sourcing, cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and managing high-value contracts.
  • •Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement across multiple levels of the organisation.
  • •Experience leading, mentoring, and developing procurement teams, including UK procurement practices, commercial governance, and compliance requirements.
