Key Responsibilities

  • •Visually and mechanically inspect panelboards to ensure they meet customer and Eaton quality requirements using drawings, design literature, codes, and quality documents.
  • •Conduct electrical and mechanical tests on all production lines (including Hi-Pot and continuity tests) and properly document product non-conformances.
  • •Verify production floor revisions and ensure correct functionality and customer specifications are incorporated, with current documentation and no obsolete revisions used.
  • •Follow procedures to receive/complete work assignments, and perform special assignments or projects as assigned.
  • •Maintain safety and 5S standards; communicate non-conformances for rework and coordinate shift handoffs to ensure inspections and tests aren’t missed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • •No relocation benefit offered; must reside within 50 mile radius of the Sumter facility.
  • •Preferred: computer literacy, working knowledge of Lean concepts, and/or an associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
