  • •Administer, operate, and maintain enterprise Microsoft SQL services for managed/approved systems.
  • •Support database clustering and perform database management, security, performance analysis, and backup/restoration.
  • •Design, develop, build, install, and administer database management systems including relational database architecture and metadata/repository creation.
  • •Define database standards, controls, procedures, and documentation; plan and budget database resources and reallocate when needed.
  • •May provide daily supervision and technical consulting, and prepares and delivers presentations on DBMS concepts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or an accepted substitution of Master’s degree with years of experience, or no degree with sufficient experience).
  • •10+ years of related experience, including at least 8 years of specialized experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience with database design and system analysis, including data manipulation languages and operating system software internals.
  • •Secret clearance (must currently possess) and maintain eligibility/certification as required.
  • •DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) and Windows Server Administrator certification/eligibility.
