Grinder Skilled

Operate grinding and finishing equipment to remove cosmetic defects from castings to meet customer specifications prior to assembly. Perform quality inspections to ensure iron meets requirements, remove gating and sprue without damaging castings, and manage sorting of scrap. Run tools such as cleaning presses, cut-off saws, hydraulic wedge equipment, and small cleaning machines. Work on 3rd shift in Erie, supporting Urick Ductile Solutions operations.
