Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely grind parts to remove cosmetic defects
  • •Perform quality inspections to ensure iron meets proper specifications
  • •Remove gating and sprue from casting while preventing damage to castings
  • •Operate cleaning and related equipment (cleaning press, small punch press, small cleaning machine) and cut-off saw
  • •Operate additional equipment as needed (hydraulic wedger, Tennant sweeper) and sort scrap castings, notifying supervisor
