Key Responsibilities

  • •Use data analysis, visualization, and modeling tools to drive data-driven business strategies with a focus on cost prediction for a two-sided marketplace.
  • •Design and execute data science projects, including hypothesis development, statistical analysis, and experimentation (A/B testing) to answer business questions.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data science solutions and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • •Analyze existing algorithms for accuracy and performance, recommend optimizations, and update production code as needed.
  • •Query and extract data from databases (e.g., Snowflake, MongoDB) and implement robust, reproducible methodologies with best practices for version control and model deployment.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; M.S. or PhD in applied math, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field highly preferred.
  • •5+ years of experience in data science.
  • •Strong SQL and Python expertise (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn preferred) plus experience with Python API integrations.
  • •Strong applied statistics knowledge, including confidence intervals, statistical tests (t-tests, ANOVA, Chi-Square), and power analysis.
  • •Experience with pricing algorithms, technology-driven product development, and scientific software practices (version control, reproducibility, deployment).
