Job Summary

Manage transportation and civil infrastructure projects from scope and planning through to delivery for local authority and central government clients. Prepare fee estimates, delivery plans, reports, and tender/contract documentation. Oversee project budgets, forecasts, risks, reporting, invoicing, and commercial performance while coordinating clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget. Support contract management and build strong client relationships to grow future work.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead transportation and civil infrastructure projects from scope and planning through to delivery.
•Prepare briefs, fee estimates, delivery plans, reports, and tender/contract documentation.
•Manage project budgets, forecasts, risks, reporting, invoicing, and commercial performance.
•Coordinate clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes on time and within budget.
•Support contract management, including contractor performance, programme updates, and NZS 3910 requirements.

Key Requirements

•Five years’ professional experience in civil engineering within transportation, roading, or related infrastructure.
•Relevant tertiary qualification.
•Understanding of NZS 3910 General Conditions of Contract.
•Strong project management skills across scope, programme, budget, risk, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
•Current full clean Driver Licence; experience with local authority or central government roading contracts is advantageous.
