Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the long-term technical vision and roadmap for Enablement Applications aligned to Netflix objectives.
  • •Lead organizational strategy for migrating and deprecating legacy services while maintaining operational excellence.
  • •Build, mentor, and retain a world-class engineering team, hiring and developing engineering managers and senior ICs.
  • •Establish mature core-service foundations across Enablement Apps, including testing, monitoring/observability, and sustainable on-call models.
  • •Own reliability and support for partner enablement experiences, improving operational maturity using metrics and SLOs.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive software development experience with strong technical foundations, including full-stack practices and modern development methodologies.
  • •Significant experience managing managers or leading multiple teams, with a proven track record building and scaling engineering organizations.
  • •Experience with distributed systems, web applications, and cloud infrastructure, plus reliability engineering fundamentals (monitoring, alerting, incident management).
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD and build tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, and Gradle.
  • •Comfortable with in-office collaboration a few days per week and demonstrated experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
