Job Summary

Originate residential first mortgage loans for branch offices and outside referrals while meeting loan sales and cross-selling objectives. Key Responsibilities

•Originate residential 1st mortgage loans end-to-end from application through closing, assuming overall responsibility for the loan process.
•Sell CRA products and services and target low-to-moderate income individuals/areas and nonprofit organizations; lead internal and external sales and partnership meetings.
•Develop and maintain CRA prospect and referral relationships (e.g., realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts).
•Assist CRA MLO colleagues with general loan support and business development; act as a peer mentor to newly hired CRA MLOs.
•Complete required applications and manage pipelines through closing, using systems like Fannie Mae Form 1003, Loan Prospector, and LOMAS, while producing management reports and communicating updates to applicants/referral sources.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) required; four-year college degree preferred.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines and residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•Demonstrated organizational skills and strong written and verbal communications skills.
•SAFE Act registration required at the time of employment through NMLS (includes MU4R questions/registration).
