Job Summary

Plan and deliver onboarding, orientation, and first-year experience programs that help undergraduate students transition smoothly to MBZUAI. Design student engagement and community initiatives supporting belonging, respect, inclusion, and responsibility. Coordinate student representation and societies, and manage a calendar of campus events including logistics, promotion, and impact evaluation. Collaborate with academic and support teams to track engagement outcomes and strengthen campus life under the Student Life function.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute onboarding and orientation programs for new undergraduate students to ensure a smooth transition.
•Coordinate first-year experience activities with academic and student support departments and develop informational materials and workshops.
•Design and implement initiatives that promote student engagement, well-being, and social development, including community-building and cultural events.
•Support student representation by coordinating elections, training, and operations for student representatives and societies while ensuring policy compliance.
•Plan and manage campus events and engagement activities, including logistics, vendor coordination, promotion, and evaluating event impact using student feedback.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in student affairs, higher education, communications, social sciences, or a related field; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in student engagement, campus life, student leadership, or co-curricular program coordination.
•Experience building, managing, and motivating teams, empowering staff and students.
•Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, event planning software, and social media platforms.
