Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute vulnerability scanning using ACAS/Tenable and coordinate remediation within CAT I/II/III timelines with IT Engineering and Networking.
  • •Apply and validate STIGs using Evaluate-STIG, SCAP, SCC, and manual review; document findings and remediation status.
  • •Configure and monitor security tooling (Security Center, endpoint protection, Splunk SIEM), investigate security events, and escalate per incident response procedures.
  • •Manage user access controls using least privilege and RBAC, process account requests, and conduct regular access reviews.
  • •Maintain security artifacts (STIG checklists, scan results, vulnerability reports, compliance matrices, audit logs) and support security assessments by collecting evidence and preparing documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance with hands-on compliance execution.
  • •DoD 8570/8140 compliance at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
  • •Hands-on experience with ACAS/Tenable and STIG-related workflows (SCAP, SCC, Evaluate-STIG).
  • •Working knowledge of DISA STIGs and NIST 800-53 security controls, including vulnerability remediation workflows.
  • •Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
