Job Summary

Seasoned business leader to launch and scale Airwallex in Indonesia. You’ll own the Indonesia P&L, define market strategy, drive revenue growth, build regulatory and banking partnerships, and lead local teams to establish Indonesia as a flagship market for Airwallex in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute the Indonesia country strategy, including market priorities, product focus, go-to-market approach, and local partnerships.
•Own commercial outcomes for Indonesia, including revenue, Gross Profit, Total Payment Volume, and new customer acquisition.
•Build strong relationships across regulators, banks, fintechs, and ecosystem partners to support market entry and long-term growth.
•Partner closely with internal Legal, Risk and Compliance teams to manage regulatory and licensing requirements.
•Support and coach local sales and partnerships teams to win enterprise and SME opportunities.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant experience across fintech, payments, banking, financial services, strategy, or business development.
•Strong experience in Indonesia, with a deep understanding of the local financial services, payments, and fintech ecosystem.
•Proven experience in roles that combine regulatory engagement and commercial leadership.
•Strong track record in sales, business development, and partnerships, with experience delivering against revenue or growth targets.
•Experience working on regulatory, licensing, or policy-related matters with Indonesian stakeholders is highly preferred.
