Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical design support for existing products to Manufacturing, Marketing, and Engineering.
  • •Develop new products and plan/lead extensions to existing product lines and new products.
  • •Ensure technical soundness of design decisions and product changes to improve manufacturability, cost, material substitution, and quality.
  • •Prevent and correct manufacturing issues affecting product functionality; plan design strategies to minimize implementation cycle time and cost.
  • •Coordinate lab tests and manage quality specifications, certification process, deviation system, and reports; coordinate with other departments and manufacturing plants for product introduction.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronic, or Electromechanical Engineering (or similar).
  • •1 to 3 years of experience in similar positions.
  • •Bilingual: English/Spanish.
  • •Working knowledge of MS Office and CAD tools such as PROE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD (with drawing interpretation); AS400.
  • •Knowledge of SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001.
