Staff Software Engineer - Data Governance

Set the technical direction for how Plaid enforces data governance at scale, leading the architecture and design of distributed backend systems for reliable data deletion, restriction, and tracking across dozens of services. Drive multi-quarter, cross-team initiatives from ambiguous privacy and regulatory requirements to shipped, auditable infrastructure. Raise engineering standards through design reviews, mentoring, and close collaboration with Legal, Privacy, Security, and product engineering.
